America is full of mixed emotions after Tuesday’s presidential election results, but on the bright side it’s finally Friday! Macy’s has seemingly decided skip right past Thanksgiving and start the Christmas spirit early by putting up the tree in Union Square on November 4th, so head on downtown and check out all the festive decorations this weekend! This weekend is full of holiday joy and adventure so grab a hot cup of cocoa and enjoy this week’s #SFGuide!

Lace Up → Grab your jacket and lace up your skates because the Safeway Holiday Ice Rink at SF’s iconic Union Square has now been set up! Fun for all ages, join the thousands of visitors and skate around surrounded by festive lights and an ambiance of jolly holiday spirit. Tickets will be $7 for children under 8, and $12 for adults while rental for skates will be $6. The rink will be open daily until the end of the holiday season from 10AM-11:30PM.

The Great White → “Winter is coming.” It’s almost time to hit the slopes and the Snowbomb Ski & Snowboarding Festival at the Sports Basement in Campbell this weekend has all the deals and steals you need to make your trip up to the mountains worthwhile. Vendors like Burton, K2, Atomic, and many more will be present offering products for up to 75% off retail prices! Lagunitas, and other local breweries & wineries like Rock Bottom and Hopyard will be present as well. Admission into this event is free for all. Winos! → This Friday, visit the SF Vinters Market at the City View at Metreon! Take in the breathtaking views of the city while enjoying over 200 wines and champagnes from all around the world. Tickets are around the $45- $95 range and all wine tastings are included with ticket fees, but food and other expenses are not included. There will be no babies or dogs allowed into the venue.
