3 Cocktails for Chinese New Year
Last week we hosted a Chinese New Year mixer at Monroe in North Beach.
With the help of our lovely new friend / Monroe’s Events Manager, Sarah Dunn, we were able to create three festive cocktails ready for the Year of the Fire Rooster. Our guests loved them. So much that some nearly tipped over the photobooth… whoops!
If you are 21 or older, please enjoy these drinks responsibly throughout the New Year!
Liquid Luck
- 2 ounces Champagne
- 1 1/2 ounces Hendrick’s Gin
- 1 ounce St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur
- 1/2 ounce Orange Juice
- Orange twist, for garnish
Gold Mountain
- 2 ounces Jack Daniel’s Cinnamon Fire Whiskey
- 3 ounces Ginger Beer, preferably Fever Tree
- 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
- Lime wedge, for garnish
Red Rooster
- 1 ounce Light Rum
- 1 ounce Gold Rum, preferably Flor de Caña Centenario 12-Year
- 1 1/2 ounces Triple Sec
- 1 ounce Pineapple juice
- 1/2 ounce Orange Juice
- 1/4 ounce Grenadine Syrup
- Cherries, for garnish
