San Francisco Weekend Guide: May 12th–May 14th

It has been yet another weird week for San Francisco and the rest of America, which is fitting since this week was inaugurated by the How Weird Festival. So, Let’s unpack this week’s happenings and oddities before we delve into what’s to come this weekend:

Mayor Ed Lee hopped on top of the bar at AsiaSF in between drag shows (49 Miles experienced this first-hand. Please contact us for exclusive, verified photographic evidence as the SF Chronicle was not there.).

Miley Cyrus finally released a new track honoring California, and BuzzFeed is really into it.

And Sean Spicer was caught hiding behind bushes (the plant, not the family).

All of these events are leading up to what will be an epic Mother’s Day weekend in San Francisco. For all the top picks for holiday-specific activities on Mother’s Day, check out our Mother’s Day event guide.

Et voila, here is this weekend’s guide to the best events and things to do in San Francisco, May 12th through the 14th:
